Sauder Motors is a third generation, family-owned car dealership and repair shop committed to providing service you can trust, quality products and services, and convenience. It is our goal to help customers make the best decision possible when purchasing a new vehicle and to provide high-quality automotive and RV repair service with integrity.

SAUDER MOTORS HISTORY
Sauder Motors was started in 1977 in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania by H. Richard (Dick) Sauder and his son, Donald (Don) Sauder, at the current Lancaster Nissan location. Sauder Motors occupied that location through 1987 until they sold the building to an Acura dealership. In 1995, after working in different areas of the automobile industry, Don Sauder bought the property at 106 West Main Street in Strasburg from Walter S. Reinhart and Sons and re-opened Sauder Motors with his father, Dick, and son, Daryn Sauder. Dick Sauder worked with his son and grandson at the new location for three years, up until his death. All three generations helped to grow the business through the years.
EXPANSION TO A NEW LOCATION
Don and Daryn Sauder continued the business and outgrew the location on Main Street as they began to expand and offer recreational vehicles. Wanting to offer more services to their customers, they began looking for a larger place to conduct business. In 2013, they purchased the property on Decatur Street, location of the former Garden Spot Bowling Center location that had burned down in 2011. They began to build a new office and shop that would allow them to offer both sales and service. The new location offers RV and vehicle service and a larger sales display area and wider variety of inventory for customers.

OUR TEAM
Daryn Sauder
President
Daryn and his wife, Meg, live in Strasburg with their 3 children. He graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School. Prior to starting Sauder Motors with his father, Don, in 1995, Daryn worked at Wissler Chrysler Jeep in sales. In his free time he enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with his family. Daryn serves as current president of Sauder Motors.
Ethan Sauder
Ethan is the 4th generation to work at Sauder Motors. He has grown up in the auto industry, graduated from Thaddeus Stevens Tech College and worked at Mercedes Benz of Lancaster for two years. He joined the Sauder Motor's team in 2024 and has taken over the internal service manager roll. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys spending time with his friends and working on his boats and cars. Ethan's favorite vehicle is his 07 Corvette Z06.
Devin Haines
General Manager
Devin has been in the auto industry since 2014 and lives in Strasburg along with his two boys. He joined the Sauder Motor's team in 2025 and took over the General Manager role. In his spare time Devin enjoys spending time with his boys, going to his family cabin, spending time outdoors, and working on the house. Devin has owned a lot of cars in his life, but his favorite was his 17 GTI.
Ryan Long
Service Manager
Ryan and his wife, Kathryn, have 2 sons and live in New Holland. He graduated from Elizabethtown College. Prior to joining the Sauder Motors Team, Ryan worked as an Assistant Service Manager at Hoober, Inc. In his free time he enjoys riding bike with his family, doing recreational sports with his older son, and working on minor construction projects around his home. Ryan’s favorite vehicle is a Volkswagen.
Jill Ferretti
Receptionist
Jill and her husband have 3 sons. She graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to joining the Sauder Motors Team as the receptionist, Jill worked in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District. In her free time she enjoys attending her children’s activities, walking, and going to the family cabin in the mountains.
Jay Lapp
Sales Associate
Jay and his wife, Becca, have 3 daughters. He lives, works, and attends church in Strasburg. Prior to joining the Sauder Motors Team, Jay worked in agriculture and sales. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, and golfing. Jay’s favorite vehicle is a minivan. He says they are the most practical thing humanity has ever done!
Steve Eisenberger
Lead Technician
Steve and his wife have one son and live in Southern Lancaster County. He has an Associate’s Degree in Auto Technology from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and has been in the automotive repair industry for 35+ years. Prior to joining the Sauder Motors Team, Steve worked in the independent auto industry. His favorite vehicle is a 1987 Buick Grand National.
Peyton Keener
Auto Technician
Peyton and his family live in Ronks. He graduated from Conestoga Valley High School in 2015 and during his senior year attended Willow Street CTC in the Auto Technology program. Prior to joining the Sauder Motors Team, Peyton worked at Keim Chevrolet. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, going trail riding with friends, and traveling. Peyton’s favorite vehicle is a Chevy SS.
Abe Lantz
Auto Technician
Abe and his wife live in Strasburg, and he grew up in the Gap area. They recently moved back from Michigan and before joining the Sauder Motors team he worked for B&D Builders as a project manager. Abe and his wife attend New Covenant Community Church, and he enjoys riding dirt bike with his friends in his spare time. Abe's favorite vehicle is a 70-73 Camaro.
Steve Gerringer
Technician
Steve lives in Chester County. He graduated from UTI and has been in the Auto Industry since 2005! In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. His favorite vehicle is a Ford Mustang.
Ean Ross
Detailing Technician
Ean grew up in Lancaster County and went to school at Penn Manor High. He lives in New Providence and previously to joining the Sauder Motors team, he was employed at Hickory Hollow. Ean enjoys gaming in his spare time and his favorite vehicle is a Nissan GTR.Sales Hours
